Κατά το πρώτο κεφάλαιο αναφορά γίνεται στη δομή των χρωμοσωμάτων, ενώ κατά το δεύτερο κεφάλαιο παρουσιάζονται οι Χρωμοσωματικές ανωμαλίες. Στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο παρουσιάζονται τα γενετήσια σύνδρομα ενώ ξεχωριστή νύξη γίνεται για το σύνδρομο Down στο τέταρτο κεφάλαιο. Στο πέμπτο κεφάλαιο παρουσιάζεται η σημασία της νοσηλευτικής φροντίδας καθώς και οι πρακτικές των νοσηλευτών σε περιπτώσεις χρωμοσωματικών ανωμαλιών.The present work is an attempt to highlight and understand the phenomenon of chromosomal abnormalities as well as the syndromes, which can then lead to. The first chapter refers to the structure of chromosomes, while the second chapter presents the Chromosomal abnormalities. The third chapter presents the sexual syndromes while a separate mention is made for Down syndrome in the fourth chapter.
