Με τη χρήση του Matlab κάναμε προσομείωση της Rayleigh και Rician διάλειψης , υπολογίσαμε το outage probability και τέλος παρουσιάζουμε μια σύγκριση ανάμεσα στα μοντέλα Rayleigh και Rician .The receiver in a mobile communications environment should combine the multipath waves with randomly distributed amplitudes and phases in order to give a resultant signal that fluctuates in time and space . The short-term fluctuation in the signal amplitude caused by the local multipath is called small- scale fading . Small-scale fading can be classified as flat or frequency selective fading . In particular , a received signal is said to undergo flat fading if the mobile radio channel has a constant gain and a linear phase response over a bandwidth larger than the bandwidth of the transmitted signal . The purpose of the thesis is to study through simulation the effect of flat fading taking into account the appropriate statistical properties of the radiofrequency signals in a mobile communication system . By the use of MATLAB software , simulation results of the received signal envelope , the outage probability , etc. are presented .
