Αναδεικνύεται το πρόβλημα, παρουσιάζονται και επιπρόσθετες απειλές κατά των υδατικών πόρων και τελικώς αναφέρονται λύσεις και προτάσεις. Επιπλέον λαμβάνονται υπόψιν στοιχεία που αναφέρονται στην ύδρευση και την άρδευση της νήσου Κρήτης και πιο συγκεκριμένα στις περιοχές Κριτσάς και Ελούντας από τους οικείους παρόχους που είναι η Δ.Ε.Υ.Α. Αγίου Νικολάου και ο Τ.Ο.Ε.Β. Μεραμβέλλου.This undergraduate thesis explores the long-term evolution of water supply and irrigation, with particular emphasis on the challenges posed by the ongoing reduction of water resources. The study highlights both current and emerging threats to water availability and suggests a range of sustainable solutions. A case study is presented focusing on the region of Kritsa and Elounda in Crete, using data collected from the local authorities: the Municipal Water and Sewerage Company of Agios Nikolaos (D.E.Y.A. Agiou Nikolaou) and the Local Land Reclamation Organization of Merambello (T.O.E.V. Merambellou).
