This thesis focuses not just on the examination of such a system and its creative use in composition. It provides a relevant chronological retrospection from anthropological, aesthetic and technological standpoint, delving into theoretical primary concerns such as how humans relate to music, the interconnection between music and society, the potential of technology as a creative tool, and the blur limits at which it becomes an end in itself.
