| dc.description.abstract | Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία μελετά κάτω από μια ολιστική σκοπιά τα ιδιαίτερα προβλήματα και τις ανάγκες που προκαλεί ο διαβήτης τύπου 1 τόσο στο ίδιο το παιδί-ασθενής, όσο και στο στενό του περιβάλλον και κατά πόσο αυτά οδηγούν στην αναγκαιότητα της σύστασης ενός Παγκρήτιου Συλλόγου Ατόμων -Παιδιών με διαβήτη τύπου 1. Στην έρευνα έλαβαν μέρος 50 ασθενείς και οι οικογένειες τους από τον Απρίλιο του 2003 ως τον Δεκέμβριο του 2003. Τα αποτελέσματα της έρευνας ανέδειξαν την επιθυμία που υπήρχε στους ενδιαφερόμενους για τη συγκρότηση ενός τέτοιου συλλόγου και τους κυρίαρχους λόγους ύπαρξης του. Επιπλέον, η έρευνα αυτή παρουσιάζει τα συνηθέστερα προβλήματα είτε κοινωνικά είτε συναισθηματικά που εμφανίζονται από την πρώτη στιγμή της διάγνωσης του διαβήτη σε προσωπικό και οικογενειακό επίπεδο. | el |
| dc.description.abstract | This thesis examines under an olistic view the special needs and the problems which occur to the child-patient and his family because of the type 1 diabetes. It also examines how these problems and needs lead to the establishment of an association for children with type 1 diabetes, which concerns the whole island of Crete. The sample of the research included 50 patients with their families and the data collection lasted from April 2003 till November 2003. The results of the research indicate the desire of those who were questionned about the establishment of an association and the main reasons of its existance. In addition, the research shows the social and the emotional problems which appear after the first diagnosis of diabetes in personal and interpersonal level. | en |
