dc.description.abstract	Το πάγκρεας έχει κύριο μεταβολικό ρόλο στον ανθρώπινο οργανισμό λόγω της ενδοκρινούς και εξωκρινούς μοίρας του λόγω των ορμονών που παράγει και εκκρίνει. Ασθένειες της ενδοκρινής μοίρας του παγκρέατος όπως η οξεία παγκρεατίτιδα, η χρόνια παγκρεατίτιδα και το παγκρεατικό αδενοκαρκίνωμα οδηγούν σε ενδοκρινικές διαταραχές όπως τον διαβήτη και το μεταβολικό σύνδρομο. Ανάλογα η ανοχή στη γλυκόζη και ο διαβήτης συχνά συσχετίζονται με δυσλειτουργία της εξωκρινής μοίρας του παγκρέατος και πιστεύεται ότι συμμετέχει στην καρκινογένεση του παγκρέατος. Σκοπός αυτής της πτυχιακής εργασίας είναι να παρουσιάσει τις νόσους που σχετίζονται με το πάγκρεας και την σοβαρότητα των επιπτώσεων μιας παγκρεατίτιδας στον άνθρωπο αλλά και τους τρόπους με τους οποίους μια σωστή διατροφική παρέμβαση μπορεί να βοηθήσει ουσιαστικά στην βελτίωση της κλινικής κατάστασης ενός ασθενούς.	el
dc.description.abstract	Pancreas plays a major, metabolic part in the human organism due to its endocrine and exocrine division because of the hormones it produces and secretes. Diseases of the endocrine division of the pancreas like acute pancreatitis, chronic pancreatitis and pancreatic adenocarcinoma lead to endocrine disorders like diabetes and metabolic syndrome. Accordingly, glucose tolerance and diabetes are often related to a disfunction of the exocrine division of the pancreas and it is believed that it participates to the carcinogenesis of the pancreas. Aim of this dissertation is to present the diseases which are related to the pancreas and the severity of the consequences of a pancreatitis on a person, as well as, the ways in which a proper nutritional intervention can help substantially the improvement of the patient’s clinical situation.	en
