Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία πραγματεύεται τη μελέτη των κατεργασιών αφαίρεσης υλικού που ανάγονται σε ορθογωνική κοπή (Orthogonal Cutting) με τη βοήθεια προσομοιώσεων με τη Μέθοδο των Πεπερασμένων Στοιχείων (FEM) και συγκεκριμένα με την προσέγγιση Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian formulation (ALE).
This Thesis deals with the study of the Orthogonal Cutting of materials, with the aid of simulations, based on the Finite Element Methods (FEM) and in particular on the Arbitrary Lagrangian Eulerian formulation (ALE).
