Κύριος σκοπός της παρούσας εργασίας είναι να παρουσιάσει και να καταδείξει τη δυνατότητα επίλυσης ενός συγκεκριμένου επιχειρησιακού προβλήματος με την εφαρμογή μεθοδολογιών και τεχνικών που ανήκουν στο πεδίο της Διοικητικής Επιστήμης, αναφορικά με τις δραστηριότητες επιχειρήσεων και οργανισμών. Στην προσέγγιση που αναφερόμαστε, η εργασία χωρίζεται σε δύο μέρη: Στο πρώτο μέρος αναπτύσσονται οι προσδιοριστικές (διακεκριμένες) μέθοδοι και στοχαστικές για την Επιχειρησιακή Έρευνα και τον Γραμμικό Προγραμματισμό. Στο δεύτερο, πρακτικό μέρος θα προσπαθήσουμε να επιλύσουμε ένα πρόβλημα κατανομής πόρων, στην εταιρεία συρματουργίας "ΠΛΕΚΤΑΜ ΑΕ". Στο κεφάλαιο 1, κάνουμε μία αναφορά στις σημαντικότερες μεθόδους και τεχνικές της Επιχειρησιακής Έρευνας. Στο κεφάλαιο 2, δίνονται οι βασικές ιδέες του Γραμμικού Προγραμματισμού και θεμελιώνεται το αντίστοιχο μαθηματικό μοντέλο σε πρακτικές εφαρμογές. Στο κεφάλαιο 3, κάνουμε μία αναφορά στην εταιρεία "ΠΛΕΚΤΑΜ ΑΕ", την πορεία της, καθώς και για τα προϊόντα της. Στο κεφάλαιο 4, καταγράφεται μία σημαντική εφαρμογή του Γραμμικού Προγραμματισμού σε ένα συγκεκριμένο πρόβλημα κατανομής πόρων στην εταιρεία ΠΛΕΚΤΑΜ. Θα αναφερθούμε στην περιγραφή του προβλήματος, τη μοντελοποίηση (μαθηματική διατύπωση των δεδομένων του προβλήματος) και θα προχωρήσουμε στην επίλυσή του με τη χρήση υπολογιστικών φύλλων του Excel.
The main purpose of this paper is to present and demonstrate the possibility of solving a particular business problem by applying methodologies and techniques that belong to the field of Management Science, on the activities of companies and organizations. The approach that we refer to the work is divided into two parts: In the first part are developed deterministic (distinct) and stochastic methods for Operations Research and the Linear Programming, which founded the corresponding mathematical model in practical applications. In the second, practical part is recorded an important application of linear programming to a specific problem of resource allocation in wire company "PLEKTAM SA". We will refer to the description of the problem, modeling (mathematical formulation of the problem data) and we will proceed to solve it using the spreadsheets Excel. The present work is an attempt to analyze the most important methods of Operational Research. Our interest is concentrated both in depth and physical interpretation, and the mathematical foundation. The approach emphasizes the economic and administrative dimension of the problem, particularly in the development of mathematical models for solving it, and the economic interpretation of the results, minimizing as far as possible the mathematical dimension of the problems. Because the practical application of methods and approaches which described, are impossible without the help of computer, special attention is paid to the use of modern information technology tools for the implementation and application of these methodologies and techniques that presented. The main objective of this paper is to describe and explain how managers of companies and organizations make decisions to solve business problems and achieve organizational objectives, especially in today's competitive business environment. Where the ability of the strains to utilize information and data and to make informed and robust decisions largely determine the viability and growth of enterprises. Finally, refers to business leaders and organizations to implement methodologies, techniques and tools for analyzing business problems.
