In the second chapter the research objectives are met, ie, a brief presentation of the tourism industry is made in order to understand the factors it is influenced by, an overview of the impact of climate change onglobal tourism is made considering a number of factors and a review of the impact of climate change on Greek tourism is also made considering a number of factors. Finally the results of the research are all summarized in the third and conclusive chapter. Tourism is one of the most important industries of global economy. At the end of World War Two, tourism effect grew in a spectacular way on a economic, cultural and social level. Over time there was a need for new forms of tourism that would offer new experiences. Alternative forms of tourism can satisfy even the most demanding tourists. Purpose of this thesis is to study the concept of voluntourism and the development of this alternative form of tourism in Greece. Through this research we would be able to understand voluntourism, the activities and the appeal in our country.
