Περίληψη
Με το εκπαιδευτικό λογισμικό επιδιώκεται η αξιοποίηση των δυνατοτήτων που προσφέρουν οι Τ.Π.Ε (Τεχνολογίες της Πληροφορίας και των Επικοινωνιών) για τη δημιουργία ενός πλούσιου, ελκυστικού και προκλητικού μαθησιακού περιβάλλοντος που θα ευνοεί τη διερευνητική, την ενεργητική και τη δημιουργική μάθηση. Με τον όρο Τ.Π.Ε(τεχνολογίες της Πληροφορίας και των Επικοινωνιών) χαρακτηρίζονται: Α)Οι τεχνολογίες που επιτρέπουν την επεξεργασία και τη μετάδοση μιας ποικιλίας μορφών αναπαράστασης της πληροφορίας(σύμβολα, εικόνες, ήχοι, βίντεο) και Β) τα μέσα που είναι φορείς αυτών των άυλων μηνυμάτων.(Κόμης 2004). Οι Τ.Π.Ε έχουν παίξει καταλυτικό ρόλο στις ραγδαίες Τεχνολογικές εξελίξεις των τελευταίων 40 χρόνων και όπως ήταν φυσικό οι εξελίξεις άγγιξαν και την εκπαίδευση. Η τεχνολογία έχει αλλάξει τον τρόπο που τα παιδιά σκέφτονται σήμερα, τον τρόπο που επεξεργάζονται τις πληροφορίες και αλληλεπιδρούν στον πολιτισμό μας. Η παρούσα εργασία αποτελείται από δύο διαφορετικά μέρη. Το πρώτο μέρος είναι η δημιουργία εκπαιδευτικής πολυμεσικής εφαρμογής για την εκμάθηση και υιοθέτηση οικολογικής αντίληψης σε επίκαιρα περιβαλλοντολογικά θέματα, όπως αυτό της κλιματικής αλλαγής, σε παιδιά δημοτικού με σκοπό να γίνουν αύριο ενεργοί και συνειδητοποιημένοι πολίτες όσον αφορά περιβαλλοντικά ζητήματα. Το δεύτερο μέρος είναι η ανάπτυξη τρισδιάστατων παιχνιδιών που σχετίζονται με τρόπους αντιμετώπισης των περιβαλλοντικών ζητημάτων, όπως αυτό της ανακύκλωσης και των ανανεώσιμων πηγών ενέργειας.
The multimedia technology combines text, picture, video and sound in order to make more attractive the idea of learning for the students. An important element of multimedia technology is that the students do not watch passively but they actively participate in class. This is the result of a well-designed software, based on critical thinking of students and not on memorization. Certaintly, there is not any case the computer can replace school teachers and books, especially for infants. Using Educational Software we seek the exploitation of possibilities offered by technologies of Information and Communication for the creation of a rich, attractive and provocative training environment that will encourage exploratory, energetic and creative learning. The term “technologies of Information and Communication” includes : A) Technologies who support the procedure and transmittion of various representations of information (symbols, images, sounds, videos) and B) the means which are the institutions of these ghostly messages. Technologies of Information and Communication have played a crusial part on the rapid technological development in the last 40 years and as usual, the learning process could not be influenced. Nowadays, technology has changed the children’s way of thinking, a way of their information procession which interacts on our civilization. This program constists two different parts. The first part includes the creation of an educational multimedia application which teaches the user how to raise an ecological conscience on todays enviromental issues - such as the climate change - to elementary students on purpose to be active and conscious citizens in the future, when it comes to envirromental issues. The second part includes the development of 3d games, which are related to the ways of dealing with the envirromental issues, such as recycling and renewable energy.
