Στη συγκεκριμένη εργασία παρουσιάζονται γενικά στοιχεία για την ανάπτυξη των λέιζερ, τις εφαρμογές τους στην επιστήμη, την επικοινωνία και το μάρκετινγκ καθώς και επιμέρους εφαρμογές τους όπως στο στρατό και την ιατρική.
