dc.description.abstract	Αυτή η πτυχιακή εργασία μελετά την επιρροή της dub reggae μουσικής στην νεότερη μουσική, μέσω της πολύ ιδιαίτερης ιστορίας της μουσικής της Τζαμάικα από τα μέσα του προηγούμενου αιώνα. Το πρώτο κεφάλαιο μελετά τη γέννηση της dub απο τα πρώτα Sound Systems που έπαιζαν RnB στα γκέτο της Τζαμάικα, την ιδιαίτερη σύνδεση studio, παραγωγού και Sound Systems, καθώς και τους πρώτους παραγωγούς που εφάρμοσαν τις πρώτες τεχνικές. Στο δεύτερο κεφάλαιο μελετάται η εδραίωση της Τζαμαϊκανής μουσικής στην Αγγλία και η σχέση της με την punk, η οποία δημιούργησε την post punk. Τέλος, στο τρίτο κεφάλαιο γίνεται μια αναφορά σε επηρεασμένα είδη όπως η jungle και η trip-hop, καθώς και μια αναφορά στην γερμανική προσέγγιση στο είδος.	el
dc.description.abstract	This thesis studies the influence of dub reggae music on contemporary music, through the very interesting story of Jamaican music from the 1950’s onwards. The first chapter, tries to give an in depth look to the genesis of dub, through the first RnB playing sound systems in the Jamaican ghettos, as well as the connection between the sound system, the producer and the studio. There is also a reference to the first producers that experimeneted in the genre of dub. The second chapter studies the establishment of Jamaican music in England and its connection with punk, that led to the birth of post punk. Finally, in the third chapter there is a reference in the genres that have a clear dub influence like jungle and trip-hop, as well as the german approach to the dub genre.	en
