Abstract
Η παρούσα πτυχιακή επιθυμεί να αναλύσει τις βασικές συνιστώσες των υποδομών πλέγματος με πεδίο εφαρμογής. Αποσφαηνίζονται διαδικασίες όπως π.χ. ο μηχανισμός ασφαλούς πρόσβασης (GSI)η μεταφορά αρχείων, η υποβολή εργασιών. Διευκρινίζονται έννοιες όπως storage element (SE), computer element (CE), worker node (WN), workload management system. Η εργασία ολοκληρώνεται με την υποβολή δοκιμαστικών εργασιών στο Hellasgrid MPICH, INTERACTIVE) μέσω κατάλληλης διεπαφής χρήστη και την παράθεση των αντίστοιχων οθονών τερματικού.
The objective of this thesis is to analyze the main components of the grid hnfrastructure within the scope of Hellasgrid. Procedures such as grid security infrastructure (GSI), file transfer (GRIDFTP), and job submission are explained. Terms such as storage elemetn (SE), computer element (CE), worker node (WN), workload management system (WMS) are specified. The thesis concludes with the submission of different types of jobs in hellasgrid (such as parametric job MPICH, INTERACTIVE) through the appropriate user interface and the inclusion of the respective display terminals.
