| dc.description.abstract | Η διεθνής τουριστική αναγνωσιμότητα του Ενετικού Λιμένα των Χανίων επιβάλλει την εφαρμογή περιβαλλοντικής πολιτικής για την προστασία της θαλάσσιας περιοχής που τον περιβάλλει. Η διατήρηση υψηλών ποιοτικών χαρακτηριστικών στο θαλασσινό νερό αποτελεί το άμεσο αποτέλεσμα της πολιτικής αυτής. Την περίοδο 2012-13 πραγματοποιήθηκαν δειγματοληψίες στην θαλάσσια περιοχή του Λιμένα και προσδιορίστηκαν οι παράμετροι pH, θολερότητα και η συγκέντρωση νιτρικών, αμμωνιακών, φωσφορικών, διαλυμένου και βιοχημικά απαιτούμενου οξυγόνου, total & fecal coliforms. Τα αποτελέσματα των αναλύσεων έδειξαν ότι υπάρχει σοβαρή ανθρωπογενής επιβάρυνση και η οποία δεν περιορίζεται στους μήνες της τουριστικής κίνησης. | el |
| dc.description.abstract | The network of the urban runoff is a potential pollution source towards the discharge area since pollutants are carried through the whole city. The 2012-13 period, water samples were collected from the central urban runoff pipe outlet located in the coastal area of Koum Kapi. During this research period the values of NO3–, NH4+, PO4+ , dissolved oxygen, BOD, COD and the colonies of total and fecal coliforms were measure employing standard methods of analysis. The results of the water quality control showed the lack of a monitoring for the determination of the most polluted urban area and the prevention of the pipe outlet to be a point source of the seawater pollution. | en |
