dc.description.abstract	Η παρούσα εργασία έχει ως σκοπούς την μελέτη και την αξιολόγηση ηλεκτρομαγνητικής θωράκισης. Για την κατανόηση του αντικειμένου, εξηγούνται οι έννοιες και γίνεται ανασκόπηση των πληροφοριών της κατανομής του ηλεκτρομαγνητικού φάσματος, των υπηρεσιών τηλεπικοινωνιών στην Ελλάδα, της ηλεκτρομαγνητικής παρεμβολής, του κινδύνου υγείας από έκθεση σε ηλεκτρομαγνητική ακτινοβολία, των πρότυπων ορίων έκθεσης στην Ελλάδα, της μέτρησης της έκθεσης με εργαστηριακά όργανα, της ηλεκτρομαγνητικής συμβατότητας και θωράκισης. Ύστερα, γίνεται παρουσίαση μεθόδων αξιολόγησης της ηλεκτρομαγνητικής θωράκισης διαφόρων υλικών με χρήση αναλυτή φάσματος, με χρήση αναλυτή δικτυωμάτων και με χρήση αναλυτή φάσματος σε συνδυασμό με γεννήτρια διανυσματικού σήματος. Για την ολοκλήρωση της Διπλωματικής Εργασίας αναπτύχθηκε κατάλληλο λογισμικό ανοικτού κώδικα σε γλώσσα Python που χρησιμοποιήθηκε σε ειδικά σχεδιασμένα πειράματα, για την επικοινωνία των οργάνων μέτρησης με υπολογιστή και την αυτοματοποίηση των διαδικασιών μετρήσεων, την συλλογή, αποθήκευση και επεξεργασία των δεδομένων και την εξαγωγή των αντίστοιχων αποτελεσμάτων.	el
dc.description.abstract	The present thesis has the purposes of studying and measuring electromagnetic shielding. For comprehension of the subject, the concepts are explained and information is reviewed of the distribution of the electromagnetic spectrum, the telecommunication services in Greece, the electromagnetic interference, the health hazard of exposure to electromagnetic radiation, the standard limits of exposure in Greece, the measurement of exposure with laboratory instruments, the electromagnetic compatibility and shielding. Then, methods of evaluating the electromagnetic shielding of different materials with the use of the spectrum analyzer, with the use of the network analyzer and with the use of the spectrum analyzer in combination with the vector signal generator are presented. To complete the thesis, an open-source software was developed in the Python language, which was used in specially designed experiments for the communication of the measuring instruments with a computer and the automation of the measurement procedures, the collection, storing and processing of the data and the extraction of the corresponding results.	en
