Η παρούσα πτυχιακή εργασία εξετάζει τη διάδοση των ηλεκτρικών αυτοκινήτων στην Ευρώπη και την Ελλάδα, αναλύοντας τη σταδιακή τους εισαγωγή, τις πολιτικές προώθησης, τις υποδομές φόρτισης, τα τρέχοντα στατιστικά δεδομένα και μερικές προβλέψεις. Παρουσιάζονται τα κύρια χαρακτηριστικά των ηλεκτρικών αυτοκινήτων, η ιστορική τους εξέλιξη, όπως και τα πλεονεκτήματα και μειονεκτήματα τους σε σύγκριση με τα συμβατικά οχήματα. Ιδιαίτερη έμφαση δίνεται στις οικονομικές επιπτώσεις τόσο στην αγορά όσο και στην χρήση του αυτοκινήτου, καθώς και στις περιβαλλοντικές συνέπειες της ηλεκτροκίνησης. Τέλος αναλύεται η συμβολή των ηλεκτρικών οχημάτων στη βιώσιμη ανάπτυξη, στη μείωση των εκπομπών ρύπων και στη μετάβαση προς ένα πιο καθαρό και βιώσιμο μοντέλο μεταφορών.
This thesis examines the diffusion of electric cars in Europe and Greece, analyzing their gradual introduction, promotion policies, charging infrastructures and current and future statistical data. The main characteristics of electric cars, their historical development, as well as their advantages and disadvantages compared to conventional vehicles are presented. Particular emphasis is given to the economic impacts on both the market and the use of the car, as well as the environmental consequences of electric mobility. Finally, the contribution of electric vehicles to sustainable development, the reduction of pollutant emissions and the transition towards a cleaner and more sustainable transport model is analyzed.
