Introduction: Menopause is a critical biological transition accompanied by sig-nificant hormonal changes that affect women’s metabolic health and body composition. The aim of the present MSc. dissertation was to investigate the association between adherence to the mediterranean diet and other lifestyle behaviors with metabolic health indicators, such as body weight, body mass index (BMI), body fat percentage (%BF), waist circumference (WC), waist-to-hip ratio (WHR), and blood pressure (BP) in men-opausal women living in Crete. Methodology: The methodology included the study of a sample of menopausal women residing in Crete. Dietary behavior was assessed using the Mediterranean Diet Adherence Screener (MEDAS), while physical activity and perceived stress levels were evaluated using the IPAQ (International Physical Activity Questionnaire) and PSS-10 (Perceived Stress Scale-10) questionnaires, respectively. In addition, anthropometric measurements and blood pressure assessment were performed. Statistical analysis of the data was conducted using the SPSS software package, applying appropriate para-metric and non-parametric tests, with the level of statistical significance set at p<0.05. Results: The study sample consisted of 52 menopausal women. The findings showed that the mean adherence score to the mediterranean diet was moderate (7.68/14), while 75.0% of the women reported moderate levels of physical activity. A statistically significant positive correlation was observed between physical activity and adherence to the mediterranean diet (ρ = 0.454, p = 0.002). Higher adherence to the Mediterranean Diet was significantly associated with lower body weight (ρ = −0.468, p = 0.001), BMI (ρ = −0.415, p = 0.005), and %BF (ρ = −0.306, p = 0.043). In addition, higher BMI and %BF values were associated with increased blood pressure levels, while greater adherence to the mediterranean diet and higher levels of physical activity were associated with lower blood pressure values. Finally, 93.6% of the sample demon-strated moderate levels of perceived stress. Conclusions: In conclusion, the findings of the present study indicated that in-creased physical activity is correlated with higher adherence to the mediterranean diet, while lower levels of physical activity appear to be linked with less favorable body composition indicators among the women in the sample. Despite the historical nutrition tradition of Crete, the moderate adherence to the mediterranean diet highlights the need for targeted interventions to improve the dietary quality with the aim to prevent cardi-ometabolic risks and improve quality of life during menopause
